The History of the Number 11
The Number 11 is a signature serve from The Connaught Bar, a multi-award-winning London cocktail bar, which was voted the 2nd best bar in The Worlds 50 Best Bars. This beautiful cocktail is part of their latest menu The Vanguard, which is inspired by the bar and its patrons. This cocktail has been created to pay tribute to the iconic Connaught Martini while embracing the future.
The bar programme at The Connaught is overseen by industry legends Agostino Perrone and Giorgio Bargiani, who have created another showstopping menu in The Vanguard. The Number 11 uses the Connaught’s own gin which is created and bottled in house and a specialist device, the escanciador sidra, to aerate the cocktail, providing the benefit of shaking without the extra dilution.
