Tequila Infused with Smoked Pear – 40ml

Dry Sherry Fino – 25ml

Pear Liquor – 25ml

Pear Chips.

Stir all the ingredients in a cooled mixing glass. Strain it into the Nick and Nora glass and garnish.

Tequila Infused with Smoked Pear – To 1L of Tequila Blanco add 4-6 smoked pears and infused it for 7 days.

This cocktail bar comes with a fascinating success story. El Copitas was opened in 2015 by Artem Peruk and is found in a hidden basement in St Petersburg, which isn’t the first place you would think of to host one of the world’s best agave bars! Inspired by Mexico, this speakeasy is run by a team of passionate professionals who work with seasonal ingredients and own a fine collection of rare alcohol, tequila and mezcal.

Their journey however, has not been plain sailing. When they first opened they didn’t have any chairs for their customers to sit on so had to ask surrounding bars if they could lend them some for their opening day. They were also not legally allowed to serve people, however through knowing the right people and getting round this they have now found themselves climb to 27^th in The World’s Best Bars 2020 and have all of the right licenses to run the bar.

One of the most interesting facts about this unique bar is there is only one big concrete table inside which seats 25 guests around. Forcing strangers to sit and communicate with each other with a goal to make everyone feel comfortable and converse – with the bartender at the end of the table making drinks and creating an experience like no other.

El Copitas have created a sense of escapism when you visit their venue through having no windows or clocks, allowing you to forget about the outside world, exhale and enjoy an atmosphere that you are unlikely to find elsewhere.

The La Perlas is one of the signature cocktails at El Copitas Bar inspired and names by one of the Tomas Estes’s venues in Mexico.
